Jeunesse et inspiration

Born in Punjab, India, Rupi immigrated to Canada with her family at a young age. Growing up in a new country, she found solace in writing and began sharing her poetry on social media platforms, like Instagram. Rupi’s poetry explores themes of femininity, resilience, and identity from the perspective of her cultural background and her own personal experiences.

Rupi’s debut poetry collection, “Milk and Honey,” catapulted her to literary stardom on its release in 2014. With its honest exploration of love, trauma, and healing, the book struck a chord with readers around the globe, becoming a Best-seller du New York Times et consolider son statut de porte-parole d'une jeune génération de femmes.
