If you’re looking for a great intro to Toronto’s nature, then come join Canoo and Northbound Tours on a hike of the Don Valley. We’ll start by meeting at Evergreen Brick Works, an old brick-making factory that has been repurposed for cultural, sustainability, and community initiatives. Once we’re all together, we’ll head on a walk through the Beltline trail.
On the way, we’ll take in the Moore Park Ravine Trail and Mount Pleasant Cemetery before circling back to the Brick Works to be greeted by a tour of the facility. Hike participants will also receive 15% off at the Evergreen Garden Market, a social enterprise that supports local small-batch producers, artisans and craftspeople.
To cap it off, there will be a food vendor market taking place at the Brick Works for some post-hike snacks.
