Mount Norquay is Banff National Park’s original ski area, founded in 1926. Known as a family favourite, Norquay is the perfect place to try skiing or snowboarding for the first time, or for experts alike.
Norquay’s snow tubing park is the largest of its kind in Alberta.
During the summer months Ride the Banff Sightseeing Chairlift, or take a “Via Ferrata” guided climbing tour on the high mountain cliffs overlooking the town of Banff. Via Ferrata (meaning “iron road” in Italian) includes ladders, suspension bridges and a fixed steel cable that secures climbers safely to the mountain.
