Located 20 minutes south of Saskatoon, Pike Lake Provincial Park is loved for its lush lawns pleasantly shaded by aspen, ash and birch trees. Situated on the South Saskatchewan River, the park offers various recreational opportunities for visitors to enjoy including water activities, playgrounds (including a barrier-free playground), tennis, pickle ball and beach volleyball courts, golf and a popular outdoor pool with a waterslide. The park’s 1.5-km Gift of Green Nature Trail begins at the interpretive centre and provides a great opportunity to experience the diverse wildlife and ecosystems contained within the park. The barrier-free Lakeside Promenade Trail features a level boardwalk surface and enables anyone to go for a stroll along the shore of the lake. The pool is open early June to Labour Day. Firewood is available for campers only. No firewood is allowed in picnic areas (charcoal only). Seasonal rental cabins are available.
